Veteran actor Dumisani Mbebe has been fired from an upcoming Netflix show after failing to show up for a table read.
According to reports, the actor is currently in self isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 which makes the whole issue rather baffling. The producers and creators of the show could have understood there was no way Dumisani could have risked attending the table read in his condition rather than show him the exit.
The actor has been sharing his recovery journey on Twitter which has gotten fans to respond to his sacking.
